A radical transformation of an existing Victorian convent into 4 luxury townhouses. The project attempts to reinterpret the Victorian language into a more fluid contemporary language whilst still retaining the essence of the original architectural character. The narrative of each house unfolds as a series of cloistered spaces punctuated by a series of open floor plates and double height spaces. Built entirely by our own team of builders the project tests the potential of the office model to reassert the architect as 'master craftsman'.
